1.Project overview

The project is located in Huinan Town, Pudong District, Shanghai。

2.Sources of pollution

The west side of the river is farmland, and there is farmland runoff pollution. To the east and south are residential living areas. Domestic sewage and catering sewage are directly discharged into the river through the sewage pipeline. The river was not dredged in the early stage, and the sediment was polluted. The river is black and smelly water, yellow in color, about 10cm in transparency, and the stench on the shore is obvious.

3Governance objectives

Eliminate black smelly。

4.Control measures

Management from May 30, 2019, a total of 1.5 months, installation of 1 device。

5.Governance effect

After 1.5 months of treatment, the black odor was completely eliminated. Water quality: DO was raised from 0.11mg/L to 5.7mg/L; COD was reduced from 172.9mg/L to 15mg/L. Nh3-n decreased from 25.77mg/L to 6.21mg/L. TP decreased from 1.5mg/L to 0.66mg/L. TN decreased from 27.70mg/L to 8.48mg/L.
